Karhi Pakora

Ingredients
  

Curry

  • 250 grams sour yogurt
  • 3-4 tbsp gram flour (besan)
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric (haldi)
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp coriander powder (dhania)
  • 4-5 glasses of water
  • 1-2 tbsp oil
  • 2-3 green chilies
  • 5-6 curry leaves (curry patta)
  • ¼ tsp cumin seeds (zeera)
  • 1 tsp garlic crushed into paste form
  • 1 small sized onion

Pakoray

  • 1 cup gram flour (besan)
  • salt to taste
  • ½ tsp crushed red chili
  • ¼ tsp coriander powder (dhania)
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds (zeera)
  • 1 green chili
  • 1 small sized onion
  • 2 tbsp coriander leaves (dhania)
  • water as required
  • 1 pinch baking soda (soda)
  • oil for deep frying pakoray

Tarka

  • 3-4 tbsp oil
  • 1 small sized onion
  • 4-5 round red chilies (gol laal mirchain)
  • 3-4 curry leaves (curry patta)
  • ¼ tsp cumin seeds (zeera)
