  • 500 grams Basmati Rice (Wash and Soak for 30 minutes)

To prepare the Spices for Rice

  • ½ tsp black pepper corns
  • 1 piece cinnamon stick
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp coriander seeds

Mutton Gravy

  • cup oil
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 500 grams mutton
  • 2 tbsp chopped garlic
  • prepared spices (masla)
  • 2 tsp red chili powder or to taste
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • salt to taste
  • 2-3 tomatoes
  • 1 cup water to cook meat

For cooking the rice

  • bowl water
  • salt to taste
