Chole Bhature
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp oil
- 1 medium sized onion
- 1 tsp garlic crushed into paste form
- 1 tsp paprika powder for good color
- 1 tsp crushed red chili
- ¼ tsp turmeric (haldi powder)
- ½ tsp coriander (dhania)
- ½ tsp crushed cumin seeds (zeera koota hua)
- salt to taste
- 2-3 tbsp water
- 1 large sized blended tomato
- 2 cups chickpeas (chanay) separately boiled for the recipe
- 1 cup water or as required
- 2-3 green chilies
- ½ tsp chaat masala
Bhature
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- ¼ cup semolina
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp oil
- 3 tbsp yogurt
- water as required
- oil for deep frying
