King Fish Pulao
Ingredients
For frying the fish
- ½ kg King Mackerel Fish (Surmai Machli)
- tbsp vinegar
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- salt to taste
- ¼ tsp turmeric
- oil for frying the fish
Ingredients of gravy for cooking the rice
- 700 grams Basmati Rice
- 2 onion medium sized
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tbsp whole spice mix (sabit garam masala)
- 5-6 green chilies
- 1 tsp black cumin seeds
- ½ cup yogurt
- salt to taste
- 1½ bowl water
Ingredients tied up in muslin cloth
- 3-4 green cardamom (elaichi)
- 1 tsp coriander seeds
- ginger (adrak) about 1 inch piece
- 4-5 cloves garlic (lahsan javay)
- 6-7 black pepper corns (sabit kali mirch)
- 1 tsp fennel seeds (saunf)
