These cold sandwich rolls are made with soft bread slices, mayonnaise, chicken, capsicum, cucumber and carrots. To make these cold sandwich rolls, you will need:
- slices of bread (white or whole wheat)
- 300 grams of cooked chicken (shredded or chopped)
- 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder (optional)
- 1 capsicum (grated)
- 1 cucumber (peeled and sliced)
- 1 carrot (peeled and grated)
To assemble the rolls, follow these steps:
- In a small bowl, mix the shredded chicken, grated capsicum, cucumber, and carrot.
- Add salt, powder sugar, black pepper, white pepper powder and mayonnaise. Mix well.
- Cut off the crusts from the bread slices and flatten them with a rolling pin.
- Spoon some of the chicken mixture over one end of each bread slice.
- Roll up the bread slices from the filling end, tucking in the edges as you go.
- Cut each roll into four pieces and secure with toothpicks.
