Simple Chicken Karhai
Karhai is a highly demanded dinner menu item in the Indian subcontinent. The ingredients vary depending on the region but generally include the meat of choice, onions, tomatoes, cumin, coriander, red pepper, green chilies, ginger, and garlic. As we are considering a low-budget dawat (party), a simple chicken karhai recipe should be on top of our menu list.

Cook the rice and split Bengal gram together till water dries. Place the fried chicken sticks on top of the rice and simmer for few minutes.
