Dahi Chana Chaat
Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- ¼ tsp turmeric (haldi)
- ½ tsp red chili powder
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp crushed red chili or to taste
- ½ tsp crushed cumin seeds (zeera koota hua)
- 2-3 cups cooked chickpeas (ublay huay chanay)
- 1 potato (large sized) cut into cubes
- tamarind pulp as required
- ½ tsp chaat masala
- 1 tsp cornflour mixed with water (optional)
Other garnishing ingredients
- 1 onion
- 1 tomato
- fresh coriander leaves
- 300 grams whipped yogurt (phenty hoi dahi)
- chaat masala
