BBQ Biryani

Chicken BBQ
- 1 kg chicken
- salt to taste
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp crushed red chili
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp crushed coriander seeds
- 1 tsp Tikka Masala or Tandoori Masala (optional)
- ½ tsp chaat masala
- 1 tbsp garlic paste
- ⅛ tsp orange food color (zarda rang)
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 tbsp oil
Curry for Biryani
- ⅔ cup oil or as required
- 3 medium sized onion
- 1 bay leaf (ek adad tez patta)
- 1 cinnamon stick (ed adad darcheeni)
- 2 to 3 green cardamom (2 se 3 adad hari elaichi)
- 6 to 8 black pepper seeds (8 adad kaali mirchain)
- 1 tsp cumin seeds (zeera)
- 2 to 3 cloves (2 se 3 adad laung)
- ½ star anise (adha badiyan ka phool)
- 1 tbsp garlic ginger paste
- 3 tomatoes
- 1 tbsp crushed green chili (pissi hoi hari mirchain)
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- ½ tsp crushed cumin seeds
- 1 tsp crushed coriander seeds (koota hua dhniya)
- 2 tbsp biryani masala
- salt to taste
- ½ cup yogurt
Other ingredients
- 1 kg Basmati Rice (separately boiled)
- fresh coriander leaves (hara dhaniya)
- mint leaves (poodinay k patay)
- Fried onion
- green chilies
