Somali Rice

Ingredients
- 500 grams Basmati Rice (Wash and Soak for 30 minutes)
To prepare the Spices for Rice
- ½ tsp black pepper corns
- 1 piece cinnamon stick
- ½ tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp coriander seeds
Mutton Gravy
- ⅓ cup oil
- 1 chopped onion
- 500 grams mutton
- 2 tbsp chopped garlic
- prepared spices (masla)
- 2 tsp red chili powder or to taste
- ½ tsp paprika
- salt to taste
- 2-3 tomatoes
- 1 cup water to cook meat
For cooking the rice
- 1½ bowl water
- salt to taste
