Dal Palak
Ingredients
- ¼ cup oil
- 1 onion large sized
- 1 tbsp fresh garlic crushed
- 1 small piece of cinnamon stick
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 4 to 5 black pepper corns
- 2 tomatoes large sized
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- ½ tsp turmeric
- ⅔ cup split Bengal gram soaked
- 250 grams spinach (palak) boiled
- 1½ cup water or as required
- 4 to 5 green chilies
- 1 to 2 tbsp fresh coriander
- fresh lemon juice to taste
