Daal Chawal and Aloo Fry
Ingredients
Daal /Lentil Ingredients
- 3 – 4 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp garlic
- ½ tsp cumin seeds
- 1 small sized onion
- 1 large sized tomato
- ½ tsp red chili powder or to taste
- ½ tsp coriander powder
- ¼ tsp turmeric
- 3 – 4 black pepper corns
- ¾ cup yellow lentil (soaked)
- salt to taste
- 2 – 3 green chilies
- 1 tbsp green garlic
- 1 – 2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves
- lemon juice to taste
Chawal / Rice Ingredients
- 4 – 5 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 small onion
- 2 bowls water
- salt to taste
- 500 grams basmati rice
Potato Fry Ingredients
- 2 – 3 new potatoes
- salt to taste
- oil for frying
- 1 – 2 tbsp green garlic
- ½ tsp crushed red chili or to taste
- ½ tsp crushed coriander or coriander powder
